NeoArc offers a rewarding and flexible work environment. Here, we present the authentic voices of employees working at the forefront.

Rewarding Work x Comfortable Environment = NeoArc:
Where Everyone Shines

Yui.K

Commercial Services Department
Commercial admin staff (Senrioka Office)

Graduated from Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics. Joined the company in April 2009 as a new graduate. Born in Osaka Prefecture.
"I am responsible for payment and sales reporting to Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan’s customers. We handle many cases, significantly contributing to the sales department. I have two sons aged 10 and 8. On my days off, we often visit the park, library, or other places."

Ayaka.S

Commercial Services Department
Sales contract service staff (Fukuoka Sales Office)

Graduated from Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering. Joined the company in January 2019 as a mid-career employee. Born in Fukuoka Prefecture.
“I review sales contracts for any deficiencies and concerns. We provide support to sales teams so that they can focus on their core business. In my personal life, I started calligraphy lessons last year. Writing by hand instead of using a device feels refreshing, and it allows me to clear my mind. The scent of ink also helps to calm my heart."

Nene.K

Procurement Service Department
General purchasing team staff (Fukuoka Sales Office)

Graduated from Department of Contemporary English, Faculty of Foreign Languages. Joined the company in April 2021 as a new graduate. Born in Nagasaki Prefecture.
"I am responsible for checking quotations, registering and changing supplier information, and reviewing contracts related to the procurement of items necessary for our customers' businesses. We support smooth procurement activities. I enjoy exploring my hometown, Nagasaki, as if I were a tourist."

Please Share your Thoughts when NeoArc was Established

Nene.K There was a briefing about the establishment of the new company, and that’s when I learned about NeoArc. I remember feeling excited by the prospect of a new beginning.
Yui.K I felt like our company was taking a step towards the future.
Ayaka.S To be honest, I was not so surprised. I just thought that they would set up a new company and transfer us there. Since my job responsibilities remained the same, it didn’t seem so dramatic.
Yui.K I was a bit shocked. I joined the company because I was drawn to the Coca-Cola brand. For the past 15 years, I have taken pride in the company name. So, I felt disheartened when I heard that I would be transferred to a company that doesn’t include "Coca-Cola" in its name. But I reconsidered and decided to see it as a chance to improve myself.
Ayaka.S I liked our company culture and my colleagues, so I wasn't anxious when I heard that most of us would be transferred to the new company together.
Nene.K Few people get the chance to be part of a new company as a startup member, do they? I thought it was also a great opportunity to refresh my mind. After three years at the company, and sometimes felt stuck in a routine, so this change felt invigorating.

Please Tell us About the Projects you are Working On

Ayaka.S There are several ongoing projects at NeoArc. Nene.K and I are working as project members while also managing our regular work. We are involved with the NeoArc website production project, while Yui.K is a member of the internal awarding system project.
Nene.K I want to gain a wide range of experience through a project like this while honing my expertise in my regular work. In the project, we collaborate with members from other departments and learn from each other, which is a great stimulus for me.
Ayaka.S I agree with you. Project activities are completely different from contract checking work I do every day. I enjoy trying something new and feel like I am using my brain in a completely different way.
Nene.K We create manuscripts, considering the design and other elements for the website. Everything we do for the project feels fresh, and I feel like it’s expanding my abilities.
Yui.K I’m having a lot of fun because I never imagined that I would be able to learn something new even after 16 years with the company. I am inspired by the enthusiasm of young members, and just as they do, I am now attempting to inspire my colleagues in my own workplace. I think such interactions will eventually revitalize the entire company beyond projects.
Nene.K I really hope that we can create a website that helps increase awareness of the NeoArc brand.
Yui.K I want to contribute to motivating employees by creating an award system.

What do you Find Attractive About NeoArc as an Employee?

Yui.K I have two children, and I've taken two years of maternity leave for each of them. Despite working shortened hours after returning to work, the company has assigned me to the project I mentioned earlier. There are no restrictions on the opportunities given to members with childcare duties.
Ayaka.S I find it particularly beneficial that we can take paid leave by the hour. When I need to go to a clinic, for example, I can take leave for two hours on a weekday instead of going on a Saturday. When I tell my friends about this, they are envious.
Nene.K There is also half-day paid leave. I really appreciate that these work options allow for flexible scheduling according to our private life.
Ayaka.S I also like an informal company culture. We have freedom in our dress code, and we can address managers with "san" rather than their formal titles. Perhaps because of that, there is an open atmosphere in the company.
Yui.K Working remotely is also helpful. I can use my lunch break to prepare dinner. I can also have my child eat earlier than if I went to the office. This is really a good system for people raising kids.
Nene.K When working remotely, we tend to have fewer opportunities to interact with colleagues. How do you communicate with each other?
Ayaka.S In my department, we keep in constant touch via chat on Teams. In addition, we enjoy a luxurious meal once a year using recreation support provided by the company.
Yui.K It’s difficult for me to eat out at night as I have a child. So, we enjoyed a deluxe bento box for lunch which we would not usually have.
Nene.K It sounds like recreation support leads to face-to-face communication among employees.

Tell us What Challenge you Would like to Take on in the Future

Ayaka.S I want to enhance the efficiency of contract checking work using cutting-edge AI tools. I can use the saved time for more creative work.
Nene.K There will be more opportunities to create BPR with Accenture members.
Ayaka.S I am really looking forward to that. They have extensive knowledge of technology and I believe that we can learn a lot from them.
Yui.K After joining the project, I began contemplating the role of leading activities like this as a leader. I want to become someone seen as a role model by younger members.
Nene.K I am keenly aware of my lack of experience, so I want to acquire more knowledge. NeoArc offers a wide range of training, including courses for areas not directly related to our work. I want to take a course that captures my interest and broadens my knowledge.
Yui.K I want to continue developing my skills to keep up with younger members.

MESSAGE

Nene.K When NeoArc was established, I also took a new step in a new environment. By participating in the project, I learned that NeoArc allows us to take on new challenges if we are willing. We are seeking individuals full of curiosity and determination to follow through on tasks. We are also looking for individuals who are curious, determined to see things through to the end, and who value communication and cooperation with their colleagues.

Ayaka.S I hope you take on various challenges if you join NeoArc. You should try anything that attracts your interest without setting your own limits. If you find something challenging or worthwhile and pursue it, you can gain confidence that you are second to none.

Yui.K I value individuals who demonstrate flexibility. I think that people who set their own limits with beliefs like "this is the only thing I can do" or "I don't want to do other things" are likely to get stuck in the face of challenges. In contrast, people who can adjust their thinking and approaches to changing circumstances are likely to overcome difficulties and grow. I am looking for someone who can change his/her mindset flexibly and proactively.
